Education
M.S., Mental Health Counseling

Hello! My name is Sherquanna and I’m a counseling intern and Mental Health Associate currently pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at NYU. Born in Brooklyn and raised in St. Lucia, I bring the lived experience of an immigrant-origin background, speaking both English and St. Lucian Creole.

I am passionate about creating safe, affirming spaces where people, especially those from marginalized or culturally diverse communities, feel seen, heard, and supported. With a background in Psychology and African/African American Studies, I approach therapy with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s journey.

I’m especially drawn to working with immigrant-origin individuals, BIPOC communities, and young adults navigating identity, life transitions, and emotional wellness. I believe healing is a collaborative process, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they grow and thrive as their best selves.
