Chanel Weathers, LMHC

Hi there! My name is Chanel Weathers and I am a recent graduate from NYU's Mental Health and Wellness program. I am currently a Mental Health Counselor-LP as well as the Assistant Director of Career Counseling and Development.

I’ve worked in the Human and Social Services field for the past 15 years in a variety of different capacities, as well as operate a business in the travel industry. These experiences have equipped me with the skills necessary to assist a range of clients facing various issues.

 

I believe that one can not help others if they do not first help themselves. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as way to help people through grief, lifestyle, and psychological changes.

 

My goal is to reduce stigma through education, helping people understand therapy should not be treated as taboo but as another level of fitness on your journey to be a better you.
